Derek Nowak is from Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador. He was the recipient of the Dr. Clarence W. Powell Scholarship and graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours). In 2003 he received a Bachelor of Education Degree and a Diploma in Technology Education from Memorial University. Derek was on the Dean’s List from 2000 to 2003. The University of New Brunswick Law School awarded Derek the Stephen Smith Entrance Scholarship and Gregory Bridges Scholarship in 2005. Derek received his Bachelor of Laws degree in 2008 from The University of New Brunswick.

Stephen Orr is from St. John’s, Newfoundland. He graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2005 and a Certificate of Public Administration in 2007. He was also placed on the Dean of Arts List with Memorial University in 2005. Stephen is currently working towards his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of New Brunswick.

Heather Squires is from St. John’s, Newfoundland. She graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in 2002 and a Master of Business Administration in 2004 where she was awarded the Faculty of Business Administration Advisory Board’s Award of Excellence. Heather is currently working towards her Baccalaureate of Laws Degree from the University of Ottawa.
